Driving to Bogo there are several communities that have their own little Christmas Tree Festivals. they are a little different from what we are accustomed to for tree decorating. Their trees are still very festive, just not traditional.
Many of the trees were made from the grasses that they weave to make baskets.
The natural grass ones are by far my favorite ones. I love the stars.
Others were made from recycled objects like pop bottles and newspapers.
Love the manger scenes inside the trees. Disappointed that the lights kind of hide the features,
It took me a while to recognize that the two figures on the sides of the scene were sheep.
In Catmon they also have a small festival of trees. I didn't get pictures of all of them.
The cupcake tree was a real surprise.
