We celebrated the 1st Birthday of our mission “Cebu
East Mission” during Zone Conferences.
We made treats using cereals, butter and
marshmallow. Same as rice krispie treats and added M&M’s put them in
cupcake holders and stuck a birthday wish in them. The rest of the food was catered.

The mission was divided up
and zones were combined so there were 3 zone conferences, 2 on the Cebu Island
and 1 on Bohol. The movie I made of the year in pictures was a hit. We showed it
during lunch. Grateful for the help of the AP’s helping me with the music. I
learned a great deal making it. We were able to attend one of the zone
conferences here by the office and really enjoyed it. We did the “companionship
inventory” along with the missionaries. It was a good experience, although we
do it occasionally we had never called it that or had it so structured. So what
you do is talk with your companion about individual strengths and weaknesses
and also about your companionship strengths and weaknesses. Elder Benjamin said
that when you are finished everyone should feel happy even though your
weaknesses were pointed out. It is a good plan for all marriages.

Valencia, Tagbilaran, and Calape will have their zone conferences on Bohol.
A very busy time but a good time. In 2 weeks we will be getting 23 more missionaries in.
